BA-64

armoured scout car

Built on a jeep-like GAZ chassis with a hull loosely copied from a captured German Sd.Kfz. 221, the BA-64 became the most common Soviet wheeled armoured vehicle of the war, used for reconnaissance, liaison and escorting convoys of the Red Army's rapidly motorising rear echelons.
