Beretta Model 38

Widely regarded as one of the finest submachine guns of the war, the beautifully machined Model 38 was accurate, reliable and prized by both Italian and, later, German troops who issued captured examples to their own paratroopers. Its high build quality made it comparatively expensive and slow to manufacture at wartime volumes.
