100mm field gun M1944 (BS-3)

anti-tank / field gun

Adapted from a Soviet naval gun to meet the urgent need for a weapon that could stop late-war German heavy tanks, the BS-3 could defeat any German armoured vehicle except the frontal glacis of the King Tiger at typical combat ranges, and it entered service just in time for the final drive into Germany.
