Henschel Hs 129
ground-attack aircraft
A dedicated tank-buster with a heavily armoured cockpit tub, the Hs 129 carried a nose-mounted 30mm or 75mm cannon designed to crack Soviet tank armour from below; it was underpowered and vulnerable, but squadrons flying it claimed hundreds of kills at Kursk alone.
