Nicknamed 'Ma Deuce', the .50 caliber Browning armed nearly every American tank, aircraft and warship as well as infantry tripod mounts, with enough range and punch to knock down aircraft, pierce light armor and shred cover alike. It remains in US service more than eighty years after entering it.
