PPS-43
submachine gun
Designed by Alexei Sudayev inside besieged Leningrad, the PPS-43 was simpler and cheaper to stamp out of sheet steel than the earlier PPSh-41 and its folding stock made it especially popular with tank crews, paratroopers and reconnaissance troops who valued its compact size.
