T-70
light tank
An improved successor to the T-60 with better armour and a 45mm gun, the T-70 was built in large numbers by factories not equipped for medium tanks, and its chassis was later reused for the SU-76 self-propelled gun. By Kursk it was already outclassed and the Red Army was phasing light tanks out of its main tank formations.
